The Ministry of Motion Pictures is the film-making home of writer & director Todd Shaffer. The Ministry exists to create cinematic experiences that take audiences into transcendent stories that challenge our understanding and lead us to hope through the lens of biblical truth.

Todd has worked in film and animation for more than 30 years, directing hundreds of commercials, short form projects, game cinematics, and films. He has supervised animation on projects for Warner Bros, Disney, Netflix, and Twentieth Century Studios, including Disenchanted, Space Jam 2, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Bob's Burgers The Movie, Green Eggs and Ham, Central Park, Looney Tunes shorts, and The Day the Earth Blew Up.

Todd wrote and directed the animated musical The Promise: Birth of the Messiah and the forthcoming Prodigal the Musical, for Glorious Films. He is currently producing the documentary media effort Surviving Child Loss and the western feature film O Bury Me Now.
